The CPU cooler is placed on the CPU cooler but not on the northbridge. This might not be ideal since the motherboard was built around the stock cooler that directs air downward.

OEM server boards tend to be similar because they function as servers and require effective cooling. They usually remain operational for a short time before failing, which is why they were still working when I checked.

I’d consider including a fan and check if it makes a difference; it should work fine but shouldn’t cause too much hassle if you already have one.
