General inquiry about steam...

I have a query about Steam games. It might seem odd but when I purchase games on my Mac using my regular Steam account, I can’t play them there. But if I run the same games on my Windows PC, it works too—since the games are saved to my account. So they should be accessible on both systems. Also, I’m just buying games directly from Steam without downloading them, so they’re stored in my account for cross-platform use.

Yes, and it's possible to play the game on various platforms like Linux and Mac as well. You can download and enjoy it there too.

What is going on? Your message didn't make much sense. Certain games work across platforms, so buying Windows gives you Mac access too; others come in separate versions for each OS, and some are exclusive to Windows.
