At first, I’m a bit new to OCing. I have some basic understanding from a few YouTube videos.
I recently received a new computer (it should arrive in two days), and I intend to upgrade it right away. My aim is to replace this part of the computer maintenance process within a few years.
Specification:
- CPU: i5 6600K
- Motherboard: Asus Maximus 8 Hero Z170
- Graphics Card: Gigabyte G1 GTX 980Ti
- RAM: 4x8GB G.Skill Trident Z 3200mhz (chosen for its appearance and decent performance)
- CPU Cooler: Corsair H110i
- PSU: Corsair RM750x
- SSD: Samsung 850Evo 500GB
- Case: Bequiet! Silent Base 800
- Monitors: 1440p at 144hz, 1080p at 60hz

You’re welcome to leave a comment on the build as well. What are your thoughts? Did I make any significant errors? I put a lot of effort into this and believe it should last several years.
I’ll mainly use it for gaming, with some video rendering occasionally.

Begin with your CPU voltage at 1.25 and then increase the multiplier to 4.2,m if successful, proceed to 4.3... for testing. There are many programs; Prime is somewhat beyond its limit. Try running ROG Real Bench, play some games, etc.
