Hello, I'm setting up my first PC and noticed some suggestions that 3rd Gen Ryzen works best with Gen4 M.2 SSDs. Could you verify if your configuration matches those requirements? Your part details are ready, but I haven't put everything together yet. Thanks for your support!

PCIe 4.0 supports previous versions too. My setup uses an R5 3600 and a 970 Evo, everything functions smoothly.

That sounds like an ambitious approach. It would be quite daring to combine 3rd Gen Ryzen processors with only PCIe 4.0 SSDs and MOBO drives. I didn’t locate a clear confirmation of that setup. Knowing it works is reassuring.
