GeForce Now works on Linux and supports non-steam games.
Hello, I just started testing GeForce Now and overall it works fine for me. You'll notice some input lag, but it's manageable, particularly in games that require more observation or slower reactions. The main drawback is the absence of official support. I currently use a Linux PC along with a Windows laptop, and I own over a hundred non-steam titles. It seems official GFN support doesn't exist for Linux, and most games are only available through Steam. For instance, Witcher 3 on GOG won't function with GeForce Now, whereas the Steam version does. The same applies to Tomb Rider or Divinity: Original Sin II, Metro, and similar titles. If you're tech-savvy, you might be able to get some of these games to work. This isn't the same as official backing, and it's not something Nvidia actively promotes. There are discussions on the Nvidia forum about these issues—check the links for more details: one about Linux support and another on multistore compatibility. Your feedback could help bring more attention to this topic. I'm not relying on community solutions like Raid, but it would be great if someone could assist.
