Gaming PC Build - Input
Hi All, Here is my initial build for May 2024, totaling about 1039.94. It's just assembled so far, but I'm unsure if the GPU fits well. Would anyone else recommend a GPU that could justify this setup for better performance? I have an extra $100 to invest in GTA6 if I don't need to upgrade.
Where did you purchase an i7-7700X for $113.09? They usually cost three times that amount. Could it be a fake? Try running the cpu-Z benchmark and check the single-thread performance rating. You should see a score around 749. http://valid.x86.fr/bench/qaly6e Many games rely heavily on the speed of the single master thread. I believe the GTA series fall into this category.
The RX 7700 XT offers about a 30% boost over the RX 7600 XT, priced just $40 more at $390 on Newegg during promotions. It features 12GB of VRAM compared to the 16GB in the RX 7600 XT, thanks to a larger memory bus and higher bandwidth, plus superior performance across nearly all other specifications.
The RX 6800 matches the performance of a 7700xt, offers 16GB of VRAM compared to 12GB on the previous model, and is available for $350.
