Hey everyone, I have a quick question. My PC is pretty basic by today’s standards, and I’m curious if switching from Windows 10 to Windows 11 would really slow things down in games. I don’t want to deal with the hassle of reinstalling everything and then seeing my performance drop so much. Could you share your thoughts? My specs are: CPU R5 2600 MB, ASRock B450M, GPU AsRock RX5500XT, 2x8GB DDR4 at 2933MHz, RAM 2x8GB.

I’d look to confirm availability for those titles, especially the ones you care about. Feedback is varied overall. In my experience, I didn’t upgrade just to reach 10 unless I had confirmed support from my most-used software or games, which came a while later. I still have 10 atm since I haven’t found a solid benefit to upgrading except for certain hardware configurations.

Absolutely, I’d still be running Windows 7.

It seems Windows 11 can be set up for minimal resource use, but real gains are unlikely. You might actually experience a slight slowdown instead. Therefore, unless it functions properly, it’s best to keep things as they are.
