I explored whether a gaming laptop could work as a Capture Card for your main PC during live streams or recordings. It’s a new idea, but I wanted to find out if it’s feasible without buying a dedicated capture card.

Unlikely at all. Your laptop doesn’t seem to have an HDMI port.

You're looking for a way to stream software locally. I've noticed https://ndi.video/ mentioned before, but I haven't used it myself. Using a hardware capture device might add some extra load on the system, whereas a dedicated hardware solution could be more efficient if you need 1080p60 quality.

It's still necessary to have a capture card because video inputs aren't common in most consumer laptops. Local streaming is possible. However, unless you're an elite streamer or manage a group needing unified streams, you usually don't require more than one computer. Most current PCs handle the quality needed for mid-range or emerging streamers. People watch you, not your video clarity.
