He tried using a VPN, but it didn’t help. Look for alternative solutions or check if the game supports cross-regional access.

Head to the destination area, adjust the location to that spot once you're there, or navigate to account settings, search for a map service, locate a specific address, and enter it into the details section.

I’m using iPhone on PubG outside Asia. Entering an address works, but you need to switch your store settings. I’m not sure if using a VPN and typing “set current location to store” will affect it, though visiting the country might allow changes.

I don't believe the person is attempting to purchase an Asian PUBG key for an iPhone from CD-keys. It's widely known that Steam has fixed the VPN issue. Before you could use 5 dollar Asian CSGO keys with a VPN, now it's required to have the VPN active when starting the game. If you can't get a refund via CD-keys, you won't be able to reclaim your money.

It's challenging since turning off the VPN can lead to getting banned if you play a game without it enabled.

No problem at all. My account was configured for China by someone there, who bought GTA 5 for 20 USD. I switched to the New World account afterward. I didn’t update the region from China and made multiple purchases using the Chinese setting. I never managed to log into my own Chinese account.
