Most updates from the past year or so. Check gamegpu.ru for benchmarks. Or any other site you trust that tests new releases—this is essentially what gamegpu does. It mainly focuses on grinding new titles and publishing results. You don’t need Russian knowledge to grasp it.
In my mind: BF1 Multiplayer, newer Ubisoft open-world games, plus a few others... As mentioned before, you need modern low-level APIs like Vulkan and DX12 for real gains. But you also need engines built from scratch with these technologies. A standard wrapper (like in the first DX12 Games) offers limited advantages.
In short: IT (unfortunately) takes some time to demonstrate its value... But recent months have seen more focus on multicore optimization.

It seems the GameGPU Review explains why Core Scaling isn't present. They mention Framelimiter and even lower-end CPUs reaching their limits at higher settings.
Well, thank you for the clarification. It does seem a bit odd given how many i7s are being sold. What I was focusing on is also covered in the yakuza piece. A 980Ti processor is faster than an AMD Vega mainly because of improvements in the NVIDIA drivers, which you detailed in the next article... Still, if wargaming is a niche that mostly attracts older white wealthy men, it seems fine with you.
