I'm looking for CPU-heavy games to try. I checked online and found AC Odyssey and Cyberpunk 2077, which I tested earlier. Anyone else know any other titles that require heavy processing?

Additional indie games include BeamNG Drive—a demanding multi-core experience—Avorion, featuring large ships and expansive sectors that challenge older processors. VRChat excels at single-threaded performance checks, while Scrap Mechanic pushes 4 to 6 cores and performs well under high clock speeds, especially in survival scenarios.

My CPU is getting a lot of stress, and the bottleneck is really affecting performance. The 8700k isn’t handling the 3090 well, causing significant drops in speed.

Hey everyone, thanks for your messages! Could you possibly include more names? Unfortunately, I don’t have any of the ones you mentioned.

Civilization 6, Far Cry 6 (unless updates are made), Strategy of the Century, nearly every premium simulation title, top-tier multiplayer experience

Denuvo issues were really handled by the 8700k, letting the 3090 run smoothly. The DRM problems disappeared in many UBI games, making performance noticeably improve.

I own FC6 and SOTTR. I really liked FC6, it was a great game overall. As for SOTTR, how intense is the CPU usage? I didn’t expect it to be so demanding, especially since it worked on my old FX 8300.

@Mick Naughty Appreciate the details, but I'm avoiding 2042. I've always favored cash on delivery over BF any time. Not a big fan of the BF series either—I heard BF 2042 didn't do well.
