The whole category of god-games is meant to allow you to act as a villain, destroy towns, run brothels, and even experience contract STDs.
I have Overlord 2 in my collection. I invested more than 50 hours on it and then performed a clean install of my operating system (I prefer to switch distributions on my Linux machine), but I forgot to back up the saved files. After that, I never returned to it because I didn’t want to replay those lost 50 hours.
I still don't enjoy RPGs. The only exceptions are those from spiderweb software. This team of indie husband and wife creators make great story RPGs. The best is the Geneforge series. Those games really impress.
