huh, yea I don't know what to tell you there... I also don't stop series once I started, and I read books in one sitting probably 75% of the time (it took me two weeks to finish the main 10 novel MBotF series), so sometimes I don't notice issues that others who bounce between books do (or who pick up books after a break). The Dagger and the Coin wasn't bad, neither was daughter of smoke and bone (although the latter certainly isn't amazeballs). But if you really want a really transcendent novel (it is rigorously self-consistent and 99.9999% of any issues you might think you are having are there for a reason) I highly recommend checking out Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality. I am really looking forward to the Doors of Stone. Kvothe OP AS FUCK for now so lets see if the author can tone it down. I am super impressed though how he has managed to tie my interest down without so much as a real character flaw in the protagonist. Winds of Winter should also be very interesting... I've been super underwhelmed by this season of GoT (I personally thought last week's episode was way better than this week's.)
