Mass Effect is a sci-fi RPG from Bioware, so you might enjoy their fantasy RPG. The Dragon Age series is also worth checking out.

Kotor 1 plus 2 feels old yet powerful. A classic in the Dragon Age universe. None of these games hit my level cap. Nothing like that.

I've been looking at that game but I didn't know what to think of it, now I know the first episode is free I'll give it a try. Do you think mass effect andromeda will be closer to mass effect 3 or the first 2 mass effect games?

I hope so, though BioWare seems to have lost much of its earlier quality in storytelling and EA is unclear... Well... that's enough.

Have you experienced any of the Deus Ex titles? They feature an impressive dialogue mechanic, allowing you to genuinely 'win' or 'lose' exchanges, which directly influences the choices available for your objectives. Or vice versa—your approach to a mission can drastically alter the direction of subsequent conversations.

The impact in these games is unmatched. Dragon Age comes close, but I struggled to play it (about 8 hours) compared to nearly 800 hours for Mass Effect.

Which game are you anticipating is nearer—perhaps the third one or the first two?

The collection includes two classic titles, Deus Ex and its sequel Invisible War, plus two newer releases: Human Revolution and Mankind Divided. If you're interested in exploring one, starting with Human Revolution is suggested because it's affordable during Steam promotions and offers more contemporary gameplay mechanics compared to the older entries. Mankind Divided launches right after HR, making it a natural next step. The earlier games are set in a distant future, featuring various playable characters. Deus Ex series generally focus on stealth action with strong RPG components. Many players enjoy playing non-violent, opting for dialogue-driven interactions where you adapt your words to influence characters and shape the narrative. The story consistently explores themes of human enhancement through technology, raising questions about bioethics and identity. While the implementation can feel a bit awkward at times, the games create a convincing dark, near-future world. Compared to Mass Effect, Dragon Age is the closest match, though Deus Ex shares similarities with it as well. Those who enjoyed Mass Effect would likely appreciate Deus Ex.
