I have some reservations about this too. Even the older titles that generally run smoothly above 60fps often feel choppy and unstable... though it’s not impossible for the future. It would likely be a tough challenge, possibly taking decades to overcome. The problem seems consistent across different systems, which makes emulation less appealing unless we’re dealing with really outdated hardware that can be forced to work. Personally, I’m still hoping for a return to RISC or PowerPC in the near future.
