You're looking for an alternative to GTA but can't seem to find a better option. Maybe something similar to Watch Dogs would suit your taste!

Only a few options deliver the same flavor or target certain audiences. After GTA Gaming feels redundant, it makes you feel like an old man.

It might spark your interest to play GTA 5 and GTA Online again with the new next-gen release. Enhancements like ray tracing, DLSS, and advanced features in free-to-play (GTA O) are expected to bring fresh experiences.

RDR2 feels like a GTA set in the Wild West period.

I enjoy playing solo. I wasn't impressed by the online version, but I think it's worth a try again. Still, I don't like the repetitive tasks. I appreciate the narrative and solid gameplay.

I completely understand you. The grinding got worse after the modders messed with the economy. Modders were actually the reason I left GTAO—it was my main game for years before that. GTAO used to be great, back when modding wasn’t as popular. Of course, there was some grind, but nothing like what you see now. It was awesome. Miss it!
