Looking for budget-friendly options, there are several realistic extraction shooters available. Tarkov is quite costly, so exploring alternatives might be a better fit for your needs.

I've noticed "The Cycle" often mentioned alongside Tarkov—it's free-to-play, so I'm considering giving it a try. Hunt: Showdown also offers a starter package for around $30 if you're looking to start.

Appreciate the understanding, but I need options that are practical and realistic. The $30 budget should be respected.

Vigor is available for free, and I enjoyed playing it a lot. The controls feel a bit sloppy (or were when I last played). I haven’t played Tarkov before, but I get the idea. Enter the map—if you die, you lose what you’ve gathered or brought. The map will eventually become radioactive, and you can leave whenever you want to keep your loot and crafting supplies. There’s a main base you can improve between sessions, which was the most engaging part for me. Once that area was fully used up, I lost my motivation. Still planning to give it another shot since there have been many updates.
