I owned my Legion Y540 with an i7 9750h and GTX 1660 Ti for roughly five years. It performed flawlessly until I installed RDR2. The laptop would crash with a bluescreen after startup, even after turning it back to default settings. Eventually, I adjusted the undervolt settings further, which reduced power consumption but caused stuttering in most games—especially titles like Final Fantasy and PES. Rocket League and Pummel Party remained playable. I replaced the RAM and SSD, yet performance issues persisted. It seems the RAM socket might be the issue.
