I'm a gamer who used to be super into games but now just plays casually with a bit of old-school vibe. When I do multiplayer, I mute everyone and focus on my own game. Unless I'm playing with friends nearby, I don't mind the noise or drama. I mainly want to enjoy the game without interruptions. I think strategy games with co-op could work better for people who are more thoughtful. It's been a while since I played StarCraft 2, but maybe I should give it another try?
In my experience, Titanfall 2 on PC has a modest but active community. Age of Empires 2 brings in mentor-style players, while Black Squad offers a lighthearted vibe. Warframe adds another layer to the mix.
