Start by streaming on the source for half a year, then switch to CS:GO for another half a year. After that, stop thinking the comp is only for MLG and give it a go. Crash everything in the end. Keep playing GN2 and keep being called a smurf. You know you're great when you have a Gold Nova Master game with 44 kills.

It could seem odd, but CSGO is mainly about mental focus. After developing muscle memory and recoil control for each weapon, you can start practicing. Try some relaxation techniques, eat before playing, wear comfortable clothes, and keep yourself at a comfortable temperature. A good mindset often leads to better performance. These tips might seem strange, but they can make a difference.

GO. I believe if I dive back into DM regularly, I could regain my former status as Junior KennyS. As it stands, my sensitivity has shifted and I’m still getting used to my new mouse. To improve, try practicing these weapons: AK47, M4A4/M4A1S, and AWP. Even if you skip AWP, it still boosts your aim and teaches you useful techniques for other guns.

From Area: By HAXs and hiding them properly can make you seem like Area or perhaps KQLY @ Unlikelyjoker

Over 300 hours spent playing, began at Silver II—quickly moved into MM right away. This was my first CS experience, but now I’m a GNM and almost ready for MG1. In Nova-MG1, this is when you should focus on understanding the game and really aim for the ball.
