I've experienced slow frame rates in FPS games recently, starting after my monitors stopped working and the computer repeatedly crashed and restarted. One RAM stick seemed to be the culprit, so I replaced all of them at once, which resolved the crashing issue. Power problems persisted, so I upgraded the power supply from 850W to 1000W. After that, I continued playing games but still faced lag regardless of settings or resolution. I thought the graphics card might be the problem, so I swapped it from a 2080 Ti to a 3080 Ti. When I tried again, the issue remained. I then replaced the motherboard as well, yet the problem continued. Both the GPU and CPU are water-cooled with around ten fans and two radiators. Previously, everything worked fine until the RAM failed. All drivers and Windows updates were current, and the BIOS was also up to date. I’m unsure what’s causing the issue now, and any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Current setup:
- Gigabyte Aorus Z390 Pro Intel Core 19-9900KF
- 32GB RAM (Corsair Vengeance Pro, four 8GB DDR4 at 3200MHz)
- EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti
- 1000W PSU
- Samsung 970 Evo Plus M.2
- Samsung 980 Pro
- Windows 10 Home 64-bit

Also running a Samsung Odyssey G9 monitor. I’ll test during my night shift since I often sleep through the day.

Verify if the RAM is included in your board's QVL list using the provided link. Many users faced unusual problems until they switched to a compatible RAM from the QVL.

You referred to cooling methods like watercooling, but didn’t confirm checking CPU and GPU temperatures. Were they within normal ranges and operating at optimal speeds? If the CPU was throttling due to overheating, poor performance would occur even with a capable GPU.

I cleaned all the hard drives, reinstalled Windows, but the issue persisted after replacing the motherboard. The temperature readings stayed between 47 and 49 degrees Celsius.
