Gameplay pauses mid-map and during startup screens in Counter Strike:GO
I set up CS:GO on my SSD last night and attempted to play bots to get back into the game after a long break. My performance was average, but I enjoyed it enough to overlook some issues. Now I’m facing freezing and audio problems—menus and map loads cause delays, and bots often crash at the end of matches. FPS hasn’t been checked yet, though I’m using 1080p with a 770 2GB SSD and an overclocked 4670K. It runs smoothly until the final round when everything freezes. I can quit but must restart to play again. Someone else saw this issue online; they resolved it by turning off their audio device, which made the game run perfectly afterward. I’m unsure if adjusting settings helped or if a different fix exists, especially since I haven’t updated my drivers yet and don’t know what worked for them.
