You recently purchased your PC and started playing games like Forza or Minecraft. It freezes frequently, not even after waiting long periods. The issue isn’t consistent; sometimes it stops mid-game, other times during loading. When you adjust the settings to Ultra, it briefly runs before freezing. In Very Low mode, it freezes during loading occasionally. During freezes, a light appears at the bottom left of the CPU. You have an MSI PRO B660M-P DDR4 Micro ATX LGA1700 motherboard with an updated BIOS for your i5 13400F. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
It might be a power supply problem, but I’m not sure. Could you tell me the wattage of your power supply and the GPU model you’re using? That should help clarify things. Also, have you looked at the temperatures? Checking them could reveal another issue. I suggest downloading HWINFO for more details.
I'm using a Gigabyte UD750GM 750W 80+ Gold Certified fully modular ATX power supply with an EVGA RTX 3060 that has 12GB of RAM. I haven't checked the temperatures yet, but I looked at CPU, GPU, and RAM usage during Forza games and everything looked normal before it would randomly freeze.
Could you capture a detailed shot of the LED using optimal lighting? It seems the part isn’t mentioned in the manual, making it a bit of a puzzle. The debug LEDs are located in the upper right area.
