Game textures are experiencing problems.
My system’s performance is currently showing some unusual behavior, especially considering it's nearly seven years old. I’m experiencing difficulties with graphical textures, as demonstrated in the attached video. While my processor temperatures remain consistently low, I’m struggling to understand why these issues are occurring. The system has been thoroughly checked for problems, including driver updates, BIOS revisions, and virus scans, all yielding no results.
My hardware setup includes: an overclocked Intel Core i5-3570K processor, a Corsair H100i v2 cooler and stock fans, an NZXT Phantom 820 case, a Sabertooth Z77 motherboard, a Nvidia GTX 1060-6GB SSC graphics card (purchased from Best Buy), a Samsung 830 SSD (2012), two Western Digital hard drives – a WD Black 1TB (2010) and a WD Blue 500GB (2010), Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600 C9 RAM (bought in 2013), and an Asus SABERTOOTH Z77 motherboard (2013). I’m running Windows 10 64-bit.
I play games such as Battlefield 4, Battlefield 1, Battlefield V (with plans to purchase), Star Wars Battlefront 2, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and Friday the 13th. I intend to buy more games during upcoming Steam sales.
I’m seeking advice regarding the root cause of these problems. Could a deteriorated DVD-cable be causing poor signal quality? Should I invest in a premium connection cable, or is it time to replace either my SSD or one of my hard drives? Is the processor itself becoming a limiting factor, perhaps due to its age and voltage settings at stock speeds?
I've included CPUID information and a benchmark score for your review: [valid.x86.fr/mtdqfk] and [https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/13090110]
Could the issue stem from the fact that the game is outdated?
