I followed the guide correctly, but it mentioned no integrity issues. In my initial message, I mentioned my SSD is only 3 or 4 years old. Actually, it's likely around 5 years (though I'm not sure if that matters). My power supply was listed in the specs and purchased near the end of 2018.

It might appear trivial, but elevated RAM consumption (around 15.3 GB or 16 GB) could lead to increases in disk usage. Given that Rust is a memory-heavy application, it's possible this plays a role.

The person in the YT video has almost the same specs, though their RAM usage stays under 13GB. You might want to check their graphics settings and see how they differ. A game that requires more than 15GB RAM on a system with only 16GB is definitely an issue for a modern OS like Windows 10, which could be the main cause. I pay close attention to my OS settings, especially since Windows 10 collects a lot of telemetry data. I keep all apps turned off and use O&O to prevent telemetry collection, which saves about 1GB of RAM.
