my setup is an msi laptop with i710th gen 8gb ram and 1650ti maxq. the issue began after i attempted to screen record my Blender using the Xbox game bar, as shown in the screenshot after reinstalling the driver on intel and nvvdia. my gpu load during the game stays low, but when i open other tabs, it increases and the fps jumps for a short time. i'm also experiencing the same problem while playing Apex Legends. my nvvdia works fine when used for rendering in Blender, but removing the Intel HD driver fixes the gpu issue in-game, though the display feels off and doesn't maintain 144hz. my final fix is reinstalling windows, but i'm hesitant because there are some machining settings i don't want to reconfigure. thank you for reading.

Having more apps running increases usage, which is typical and sensible. Your screenshot suggests you might be running low on RAM, potentially leading to further problems. See if your laptop supports upgrading—adding another 8GB would likely make a difference.
