The title clearly indicates the issue. My usual frame rate is 144 fps, but it drops to around 30 fps or more in open spaces, with unstable timing. The GPU usage stays low at 60% or less, while CPU stays under 40%. What’s happening? How can I resolve this? I’m sure I didn’t purchase this monitor for free. Here are the details:

- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X (Pinnacle Ridge, PiR-B2) 3700 MHz
- Motherboard: ASRock X570 Phantom Gaming 4S BIOS: P3.20
- RAM: 16384 MBytes @ 1330 MHz
- Graphics: MSI RX 5600 XT MECH OC AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT, 6128 MB GDDR6 SDRAM
- Storage: Multiple SSDs and a WD10EZEX-08M2NA0 drive
- Network: Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265
- OS: Windows 10 Home (x64) Build 19042.804

Let me know if you need further help.

Modify the game configurations; it typically has a maximum frame rate limit. Keep in mind that the game should be operating on an SSD drive. Adjust your RAM settings to match optimal performance. Right now, your RAM usage is below the recommended capacity.

I chose 2666 since it worked better at 3200 and 3000 MHz, though the OCR might have been off. The game seems to be struggling on a hard drive. It’s likely the storage was slow. Game preferences are set to the lowest level with only 3GB of VRAM. Performance is limited to around 144 FPS.
