Hello ! I just assembled a PC with a 4060 Ti 13600kf 32gb ram ddr5 b760 gaming x ddr5 ssd sn850x watercooling 360mm frozen notte. I’m puzzled why I’m seeing more than 300 fps in games and feel like I’m running at 60hz despite noticeable screen tearing. I have two monitors—1165 iyama with 0.8 ms delay and a 144hz viewsonic with 1ms delay. Can anyone assist me in fixing this issue? Thank you!

Do you clarify if only one monitor is connected or if two monitors are linked together while using the GPU simultaneously?

Use Gsync/Freesync with Vsync activated to ensure smooth performance without exceeding the refresh rate. When FPS surpasses the refresh rate, it appears as if pages skip, similar to a flip book losing pages. If your display lacks Gsync/Freesync, consider Fast Sync or Vsync with a maximum of 143 FPS to reduce input lag. Gsync alone doesn't restrict FPS; Vsync or manual FPS limits are needed to stay within the VRR range.

I attempted to turn on/off vsync and the vsync activation/deactivation settings, but they caused my FPS to drop to 143 with increased input lag.

These techniques helped me.
Consider disconnecting your second screen.
