Game runs at high frames per second yet lacks smoothness.
Hi everyone, I’m facing a rather odd issue that’s hard to put into words. Over the past seven years and five years ago when I upgraded my monitor from 75 Hz to a Benq 144 Hz, everything ran perfectly with smooth performance. Afterward, I switched to an AW240 Hz monitor which improved things even more, but eventually my FPS dropped below 240, prompting me to upgrade my CPU. Now I’m consistently hitting around 400 FPS, yet the game doesn’t feel as fluid as before. It’s as if my crosshair isn’t responding as it should. I’ve tried similar fixes on Valorant, but it still feels sluggish. I also reviewed old videos played on my 144 Hz monitor and noticed they looked much smoother.
