In short, during gameplay on my laptop I often see sudden frame drops and it doesn’t recover. After installing MSI Afterburner I noticed CPU usage plummeting to just 1-2% before jumping back up to normal levels. This happens with demanding games like PUBG, Apex, GTA V, and Genshin Impact. The GPU still handles smooth performance, but the CPU isn’t actively using it, causing instability. I’m concerned because this shouldn’t happen on a system I bought two months ago. My specs are: Acer A15-56, 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 @ 2.40GHz, 8 GB RAM, Windows 11, 1 TB HDD, ROM.
I'd keep an eye on memory consumption. 8GB seems adequate for gaming these days.
Your computer isn't powerful enough to run those games smoothly.
