Hi, I've recently downloaded BFV and when I'm playing I struggle to stay above 60fps no matter what settings I try.
It sits around 75 when I'm in the outskirts out of battle but then struggles as I'm fighting.
PC Specs are -
CPU - i7 4790k
Motherboard - ASUS Z97 PRO
RAM - 3x8GB DDR3 - 2400
SSD - 1TB
GPU - Nvidia 1060 6GB
PSU - 750w Gold
Any reason I may be experiencing this? I thought my current specs would handle it.

Initially, your memory setup appears unusual with three 8GB sticks installed. Utilizing multiple RAM modules will likely compel the processor to operate in a single channel, potentially leading to performance degradation. Furthermore, are you encountering problems while playing online with others?

Seriously? I had no idea about that, would taking out a single piece be helpful?

Indeed, it’s part of the team aspect.

Eliminating a single stick of memory could improve performance. Ensure you remove the RAM module that doesn’t occupy either both A slots or both B slots. Testing game performance is conducted in a single-player mode to maintain consistency. As a general guideline, you’ll typically experience approximately half the frames per second in multiplayer compared to single player. When exploring peripheral areas, frame rates tend to approach single-player levels, but during intense combat situations, you’ll usually see lower FPS. Removing the non-paired RAM stick might be helpful because it would increase memory bandwidth, preventing the CPU from experiencing data shortages; however, this is not a guaranteed solution and should be considered as an initial step.

Does this display at a 1080p image quality? You likely have your GeForce 1060 running at its maximum capacity, and you can verify this by installing MSI Afterburner and setting up the display to show your processor and graphics card usage, closely observing their activity and temperature levels. Switching to a graphics card like the GTX 1070 Ti would result in a noticeably better experience.

It's 1080p resolution, and I’ll experiment with Afterburner later this evening.
