I completed constructing my new gaming PC and installed one of my first games to test it, but performance is poor and I’m unsure what’s causing the issue. Here’s a summary of the components you listed: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/x2kR99. Could you help or suggest improvements?

Play another game to check if it's just BF4.

I need to spend about an hour, I'll play a game while I'm away.

It doesn't seem to be the PSU issue. Everything should work fine. If you're getting low FPS, check that all your hardware is properly recognized—like whether your RAM appears in the system and if your GPU is present. Once confirmed, update the drivers for your GPU and motherboard. As Altecice mentioned, try testing it in another game first.

Just confirm if the drivers from Nvidia.com were added once your system was assembled.

I just looked for driver updates for NVIDIA GeForce and saw another one needs updating. I’ll download it, then test BF4, and if issues remain I’ll move on to Assassin’s Creed Revelations.

Check the system updates and restart your PC. Consider using a different driver or adjusting graphics settings. If issues persist, consult specialized support forums.

That sounds odd. Would you like someone with a computer to test your graphics card for similar performance?
