Gameplay Issues with Battlefield V. Hello everyone,
I recently purchased Battlefield V and had previously spent considerable time playing Battlefield 1. Initially, Battlefield V ran well at over 60 frames per second. However, I then explored FPS boosting videos on YouTube seeking a further increase of 5-10 frames. Following this, I updated my Nvidia driver (GeForce GTX 1050 Ti) and rebooted my computer. Subsequently, my frame rate dropped to 10-15 fps. I experimented with various graphics settings and researched online solutions without success. Now, Battlefield 1 is performing poorly, and I’m unsure how to resolve this problem. It may be related to the latest Nvidia driver update. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Battlefield V and still experience this persistent low frame rate (10-15 fps). Can anyone offer assistance? Thank you!

yes, let me find the link to the older drivers. you can then boot to safe mode and run DDU to rid yourself of all your nvidia drivers, then when you reboot you can install the ones you want.
you use the Advanced Driver Search page, find your card and OS and stuff, and they list the downloads available.

When you updated the Drivers did it change any settings in game? I'm not 100% sure but if you go into the graphics settings in Nvidia you might be able to preset the graphics settings and optimize the game through the Nvidia software.

Avoid automatic updates; instead, install them only when required for a specific game or application. However, be aware that problems may still arise. Console manufacturers often engage in this type of unnecessary behavior, and I find their testing amusing – quite delightful, actually.

Hey Peter, you’re awesome! Thank you so much. 60 frames per second or higher again! I'm experiencing the same issue. Could you tell me which driver version you installed? There are approximately twenty versions available through the advanced search—ranging from v390.65 to v417.22, with the latest being v417.22.
