while playing games my game freezes but clicking windows makes it work. CPU and GPU usage stay normal, though mouse may lag or stutter occasionally. Sometimes it functions fine after a short delay. Could you assist? Specs: i7-13700 rtx 4070 ti 64gb ram ddr5 2tb storage

The issue isn't related to your GPU or CPU load. Are you referring to specific titles? Whether SSD or HDD storage is involved.

The best I can suggest is verify for any driver updates and then reboot your PC to check for changes. If that doesn’t resolve the issue, I’m not sure what else to do at the moment.

I've already updated the newest graphics drivers, but they didn't help. I also restarted my PC, and it worked the same. @DeathsAngles20

I haven't modified or changed any components yet. Could you share the details you're asking about?

I have a Z790 Pro X motherboard. My RAM runs at 5600 MT/s. I’m using a PCS3480 with a 2TB SSD and no HDD. I haven’t overclocked the CPU. @DoctorNick

Possible cause could be any of the listed items; ram, hdd/ssd, gpu drivers, motherboard drivers and/or bios, or a faulty usb connection or even a tight cpu block/heatsink. Test each potential issue systematically.

Test temperatures using CB23 or 24. Apply HWinfo64 in sensors only mode to verify readings under load. Perform a 10-minute test. It might help to run without XMP enabled—just set RAM to auto and check if stutter stops. Also, visit the BIOS page and disable the auto installer mentioned. You can find the BIOS path here: https://download.gigabyte.com/FileList/M...e0a341644e. If the issue remains unchanged, it could point to an SSD problem. I struggle to find detailed info about it, so I’m unclear on the controller or other components.
