Fallout 4 seems promising, though I’m hoping I can manage to play it without the issues I had with Witcher 3. I enjoyed Witcher 3 a lot and found Witcher 2 even more appealing. Arkham Knight... well, it looks intriguing.
It might be The Witcher 3, Grand Theft Auto V, Batman Arkham Knight (Fixed Edition), or Fallout 4.

Skyrim is still the best option
Supporting Ori and the Blind Forest felt ideal to me... but I think Fallout 4 or The Witcher 3 might take the spotlight next year.
Skyrim launched in 2011, but that's not how it went... "Screw the system! Skyrim for GOTY 2011-2069!! Woooh!" It just needs to be one of those (if not all), since mainstream is pretty good.
A wise person once remarked: "Have you ever tried modifying it? If not, you can't comment on Skyrim." Its influence was immense.
However, I didn’t have a split screen setup; I often played Halo using a split-screen method with my friends, which was really fun.
