My computer is experiencing unusual problems, and I’m uncertain whether the issue stems from hardware or software. Occasionally, my screen exhibits “surges” during computer use, particularly when gaming where models flicker. I have an example available at https://youtu.be/GB1MdVXPXqg. Furthermore, while using Discord and playing with friends, my microphone produces a high-pitched buzzing sound. This noise is only audible during “surges” and when adjusting microphone settings within Discord, but not through standard Windows audio controls. My friends consistently hear the buzzing when I use my microphone. Despite a recent motherboard and CPU replacement, followed by a fresh Windows installation, the problem continues.

Have you used DDU to uninstall graphics drivers? If so, your GPU may be faulty. Try it in a different system.

Uninstall DDU and reinstall the latest NVIDIA driver from nvidia.com. Update your motherboard BIOS to version 2008 if it’s not already at that version. Refer to this link for instructions: https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/PRIME-...Desk_BIOS/

If you used DDU uninstaller, your GPU may be faulty. Test it in another system.
