I recently installed “FEAR” (a personal favorite) on one of my computers, but I’m unable to launch it. When I double-click the icon, the screen turns black, presents a few choices, and then ceases to function. My system specifications are: an AMD 8350 processor clocked at 4.0 GHz; 32 GB of RAM; and an MSI Radeon 370 graphics card (without overclocking or Afterburner). I'm puzzled by this issue. Do you have any suggestions?

Previously, there was no such issue, however, the enlargement introduces it if any application interfering with the game’s display—such as MSI Afterburner or similar tools presenting FPS (or other data) on-screen—is utilized.

TerryLaze:
The initial version did not exhibit this issue, however the update introduces it if you utilize any software that alters the game’s display, such as MSI Afterburner or similar programs which show frame rates (or other data) on-screen.

Thank you for your response. I possess the initial document and was not operating any other programs. Perhaps the disc is faulty.
