Check if this problem is limited to BF 2042 or if others face similar concerns. Begin by enabling PBO as automatic. Then test without EXPO (configure RAM to auto). If issues persist, remove the armoury crate and disable it in BIOS (this may trigger many errors). Use the uninstall tool from the link provided. For GPU drivers, you can reinstall via DDU: https://www.wagnardsoft.com/content/Down...-DDU-18077. After installation, boot into safe mode, adjust DDU settings to prevent Windows updates from installing drivers, run DDU, clean the system, and restart. Also, update chipset drivers at https://www.amd.com/en/support/downloads...x670e.html

Right now I only see the bf2042 part, and I followed everything you mentioned. I’m not using the armory crate because it doesn’t work... No changes made. I’ve also bought an HDMI cable to swap in for the DP and plan to test it.

I could possibly consider BF2042 later. I haven't faced any problems with it using 7900XT and 5800X3D.

Ensure fast boot is activated in BIOS and Windows. Verify consistency between the two, as mismatches can cause issues. If problems persist, recheck using DDU. Be sure to disable Windows Update from installing drivers in DDU settings.

I have identical settings. It was a DP cable. Affordable, OEM version. I play for about 4 hours and the game runs smoothly.
