When playing other games, latency stays low around 20ms. But once you enter a battlefield game like 2042 or V, it spikes to 200-400ms, making play impossible. My friend has similar issues, though his is fine. I've tried port forwarding, disabling the firewall, switching to Wi-Fi, updating drivers, but nothing helps. I'm unsure if the problem lies with my PC, the game, or the Wi-Fi connection. Anyone else facing this issue? Thanks.

Can you switch the server you use in the game? Being close to the game's server helps avoid lag in online play.

Welcome to the discussions! Did you remove and reinsert it? This seems like an unusual issue possibly caused by damage. It’s also possible your modem might have incorrect QoS settings, though that’s less likely

BF2042 lacks a server browser currently, so players must rely on VPNs to access different server areas. This creates a major problem for regions such as Latin America, Africa, and Europe where the game is nearly unavailable.

I really miss Battlefield 4. It feels like a huge issue for a top-tier online multiplayer experience, and it might just depend on where the players are located.

It's interesting how you can change regions for other EA games, but BF2042 doesn't support that feature.

I'll attempt it, though I doubt it's the problem since it occurs in bf5 too and 2042 as well.

I also used a VPN, but it didn’t appear to make a difference.

yep i have tried but there is no way to contact them if its a connectivity issue it just sends you round in a loop, its so weird because i tried it on a different pc in the house and its fine. Just reinstalled windows and the problem is still here, only thing i can think at this point is that its the mobo but i have no clue.
