Hello everyone, I'm discussing the game Evil Within. When I had an old GPU, I thought the lag was due to the GPU itself. Now that I have an MSI Gamin X 1070, I believe it might be related to settings or something else. Someone could help me out? I checked various websites for solutions, but they didn't help much.

Usually it happens because of high multisampling, strong antialiasing, or odd vertical sync. Experiment with these options a bit.

Attempted it, but it’s similar to when you’re drunk. And it plays very slowly.

I understand what you're referring to. Based on your experience, I adjusted the settings and it resolved the issue. It didn't involve any hardware problems for me.

It seems like you're questioning whether this setup works with the GTX 1070 and are surprised to see 30 FPS. What's going on?

It sounds like the environment is quite unusual, almost like high-end anti-aliasing at 16x or something similar. These extreme options can really strain even powerful systems, especially when running complex games like CS:GO 1.6. (just a made-up scenario)

It really messes with me... Thanks for the update, I’ll try out the settings in NVIDIA.

The adjustments should come from in-game options, not from driver or NVIDIA settings. If you haven’t tried, consider using Nvidia GeForce Experience optimization for the game—some users find it improves performance and stability.
