I've recently assembled a new PC and am encountering some unusual problems. Most functions operate correctly, but games are acting strangely. I first noticed an issue in Just Cause 3 where the game freezes instead of crashing, becoming unresponsive when using alt F4 or other force quit methods. I need to shut down or sign out to close the app. The next problem arose after installing GTA V, which triggers an error code 0xc000012f. I've reinstalled the C++ files several times now, but other games still crash frequently, making it impossible to play. However, when working with Fusion 360 or DaVinci Resolve 19, everything functions normally. To try and mimic these issues, I ran a 10-minute multi-core stress test using Cinebench with furmark running, and everything worked without problems. I'm really struggling and would appreciate any assistance. If relevant, please note my system specs: Ryzen 9 9900X, Asus Tuf B650E, Gigabyte Windforce 4070Ti, Super Corsair VENGEANCE, 2x 16GB RAM at 6400MHz, 32-40-40-84 MHz clock speeds, running Windows 11 Pro 24H2.
