I recently purchased BF4 and have repeatedly struggled to access any game mode. I often freeze during the transition to multiplayer servers or see a black screen when trying to join the campaign. When first installing, I could test the gameplay in the demo and achieved excellent FPS, suggesting the issue isn't with my hardware. I've attempted a fresh installation, removed certain files, and repaired the game without success. Anyone else experiencing this problem? Please help me out! Thanks in advance!
Hardware: R9 270X, Pentium g3258, 8GB RAM, 500W PSU, Gigabyte b85m-d3h

Yes, I understand you purchased BF4 since you mentioned playing it but it froze. What was the system build?

Really, you shared a lot of details... Thanks for the info. Could you provide more system specifications and some OCs?

Use Origin to fix the game. Search for ports to open on your router. Check the router settings and open the necessary ports. Restart the router and try again.

Download the newest AMD Catalyst Radeon driver. Hopefully you didn’t modify that BIOS setting that disallows OC for BF4. Also, BF4 performs better on a system with 16GB RAM. It could be related to a Pentium model. I’d never run Battlefield without an i5 processor.

Expected delivery of 4690k looks promising, likely to arrive well on schedule. The sapphire 270 model is already available in pre-OC version.
