CS2 occasionally stops working and restarts after a short pause, though your system stayed responsive during the freeze. You were playing Discord normally, but the game briefly froze for a few seconds before continuing. This issue seems specific to CS2. Your display settings are at 2560x1440 with windowed fullscreen enabled. It might be related to how the game handles those resolutions or settings. The latest drivers and hardware specs don’t seem to be the cause, but it’s unusual behavior. Others using similar configurations might find the same problem.

7800x3D is experiencing freezing problems across several users. Consider turning off the Vcache cores to test if that resolves the issue.

You're likely seeing the same issue across different games because performance bottlenecks often stem from shared hardware constraints. Even with cache enabled, factors like GPU load, memory bandwidth, or driver limitations can affect multiple titles.

Both have experienced similar problems with stutters and related issues. The latest chipset drivers from your motherboard vendor should be up to date. I'm curious to check if disabling the VCACHE cores resolved the issue—this would indicate a problem with the VCache core driver or chipset, requiring a future fix.
