Windows 10
Amd ryzen 7 1700 processor
32 GB RAM at 1200 MHz
MSI B350 Tomahawk motherboard
4095MB NVidia GeForce GTX 1080
Approximately 800GB SSD (currently running low)
Recently installed PoE, but games freeze or stop every five minutes as described. GPU temperature reaches around 85°C, while other parts stay near 40°C. I don’t play many high-end titles, so it’s unclear if the problem is game-related or hardware. I recall experiencing VRAM warnings in Warzone before. I checked the VRAM usage and found about 1GB and roughly 3.7GB of RAM consumed. I’m unsure whether this is normal or problematic.
GPU drivers are up to date. If anyone has suggestions on how to resolve this, I’d appreciate any advice.
Edit: I should also note my monitor is very large; I play at 1920x1080 in windowed mode.
PSU details requested: make, model, wattage, age, condition.
PoE download source inquiry needed.
Check for any related errors in the reliability history.
Hi, sorry but I can't locate my screwdriver and have to head to bed, so I'll need to share the make and model tomorrow. Regarding the age, I think it's around 3 to 4 years old. I'm unsure about its condition, but I haven't had any issues with temperatures on this computer. I downloaded PoE directly and that's when the issue began. I've tried playing through Steam, but the problem persists.
There are no specific errors; none at all, as recorded in the Reliability History over the past few days.
Edit: I'm not sure if it's important to mention, but the music tends to start repeating (like refreshing every second) about 5 seconds before the connection drops.
