Game issue: Mouse cursor malfunctioning
I've encountered issues with certain games in my Steam library and some programs on my computer that I'm not sure how to resolve. Recently, a limited selection of games displayed a green outline around the screen border and the mouse cursor once inside the game, but it stopped responding completely once I was actively playing. This began with a Steam title called "The Designer's Curse" and has spread to a few others; the same problem occurs—green outline and an unresponsive mouse—even though I can display the outline. I've attempted to uninstall and reinstall the mouse drivers, updated all available drivers, used dedicated mouse software, adjusted polling rates, and even updated the Nvidia graphics settings, but nothing has resolved the issue.
