In the 'Convoy Decoy' mission, the areas where STAG planes appear have shipping containers that are missing from the walkthroughs. As a result, the planes can spawn through these crates, which prevents them from being stolen or flown away. I don’t have any mods installed on the game.

I referred to large shipping containers. The aircraft are more than halfway done, with just the cockpit visible.

SOLUTION! - Press 'Y' (or the similar key) while near one of the distorted planes to gain entry. Around 1 in 5 chances you'll succeed before it goes off. If you manage that, restarting from the checkpoint will bring you back safely.
