I’m having some trouble getting my PC to run smoothly. When playing games like Valorant or Fortnite, the frame rate drops from around 180/144 to just 19 fps. I’ve checked the drivers, lowered RAM speed, and even used a higher CPU frequency cap, but nothing seems to fix it. I’ve got a solid build with Ryzen 7, decent RAM, and a good cooler setup, but the issue persists. Could you offer any tips?

In Fortnite, stuttering is almost inevitable, though DX12 offers some relief. The pre-match loading screen often causes major lag. After playing a bit, things usually improve. For Valorant, I’m not very experienced, but I’ve heard they moved to UE5—the same engine as Fortnite—so similar problems might exist. Have you encountered these issues in other titles?
