Game freezing with high fps
Yesterday I put in a game and it ran smoothly at about 75-70 fps. Today, audio and video kept freezing for short bursts. After turning off background apps, the issue nearly disappeared. Would upgrading your RAM help?
You should specify PC details including processor gpu ram and also game which you are playing.
It seems you're experiencing low memory issues. I checked for similar problems—BF4 did the same before upgrading. After increasing to 16GB, things worked out.
If killing certain processes released memory, avoid leaving many applications running unnecessarily. Close unused web browsers and other programs to conserve resources. It’s important to keep only essential files open, especially during gameplay.
Your setup includes an i5 6500, 8GB DDR4 RAM at 2133Mhz, a GTX 1050 Ti, and you're running BF4 at 1080p. You haven't noticed any stuttering or lag. It might be due to the combination of DDR4 memory and the higher clock speed of your RAM.
You have 8 gigabytes enough. However, the size of your pagefile looks smaller—around 512MB—far below the suggested 4GB. If you're concerned about storage, consider transferring everything to an HDD.
