Updates: Frequent crashes at 4800MHz have been reported. I also overlooked that my PC is just over a year old. Recently, my older system (bought in December 2025) has been suffering from a major issue where games freeze and then crash, showing an AMD warning about a driver timeout. It sometimes freezes briefly before restarting, but lately it only crashes after freezing. This problem appears across multiple titles—Overwatch, Deadlock, Warframe, and FTL. I haven’t tested every game, but it seems widespread. I lost 30-45 minutes in FTL during a strong session, and since the game is roguelike and RNG-heavy, I doubt I’ll regain my previous performance. I replaced the GPU, RAM, and two M.2 SSDs (including the boot drive). When I powered on again, EXPO was off, defaulting to 4800MHz. Playing Overwatch worked fine before; after turning EXPO back on it froze once more. Switching to 5800MHz didn’t help, but 5600MHz seemed acceptable. Later it crashed again, so I returned to 4800MHz but continued the issues. I’ve reworked GPU, RAM, SSDs, updated BIOS, ran DISM and sfc scans via Command Prompt, checked chipset drivers, and used DDU to reinstall AMD graphics drivers. Here’s my build list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/nkY8Tm. This is severely limiting my ability to play all games, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
