Game freezes in the middle of gameplay without an error message
My game, nuclear throne keeps freezing in the middle of gameplay without an error message. It happens during random times. So far I haven't been able to find a single solution for this problem. I click "wait for program to respond" and it still doesn't work.

The game is from Steam. Nuclear Throne. I have also tried the GOG release and it gives me the same issue.

When playing the average is 43 for the CPU, and the average is 37 degrees Celsius for the GPU
I'm guessing the issue is unsolvable, it has something to do with the game. I can't run this game on my PC anymore. It's too unplayable.
I sort of fixed it by deleting the save data for the game. It still freezes up, but it doesn't stop responding permanently anymore and I can back to the game if I wait.
